Brief overview of course offerings
Electronics (5 day)
Electronics Design and Defeat Course
ED&D 5 Day (40 +Hours)
This is a five day course. Students are required to be bomb techs, or in a bomb tech pipeline and be cleared by their parent command. Students will be given all training materials required to include a manual, a course book, and a training electronics kit (unless not required). Included with the cost of a MTT course provided at the students location are 2 Team Response Kits, which provide advanced kits of the caliber to be used in actual responses.

Precision Aim (5 Days)
Precision Aim and Simultaneous Precision Disruption
The WMDTech’s Precision Aim and Simultaneous Precision Disruption Course is a 5-day course designed to teach bomb techs advanced x-ray and tool aiming techniques to be able to precisely attack the smallest of targets in the toughest of positions with virtually the same time on target as necessary for normal x-ray diagnostics. The course was built by experienced bomb techs. Course Combines Precision Aim with the Simultaneous Impact courses for a full 40+ hour comprehensive course.

Precision Aim (2 day)
Precision Aim Course
Precision Aim is the answer for the new era of devices where general disrupt is not an option. Precision Aim is not an end all to every situation, but can give every tech who employs it the ability to have pinpoint accuracy on any device with standard tools, I.e. PAN and an x-ray. The added capability of being able to choose your target not only provides an option when faced with a WMD type device, but preserves evidence in every incident.

Sim. Disrupt (3 day)
Simultaneous Precision Disruption
Simultaneous Disruption builds on the fundamentals taught in the Precision Aim course. Its primary focus is on determining depth with an X-Ray and performing dual precision shots. These additional techniques provide a valuable tool for any device, specifically a large vehicle (LVIED) or a device with multiple targets that require precision and timing.

Advanced Device Build (3 day or 5 day)
Advanced Device Course
The goal of the Advance Devices build course is to give the students a broader perspective on the different component configurations that may be seen in the field or in the future, some of the considerations in the safe building of these devices, and a basic understanding of methods that can be used to counter such devices. Course is built for students who have already benefited from an ED&D course (or similar electronics course). Intermediate to advanced Electronics training and proficiency is a required pre-requisite.

Lock Picking (2 day)
Lock Picking and Obstruction to Entry Defeat
The Locking Picking and Obstruction to Entry Defeat Course provides the bomb tech and law enforcement with the ability to bypass hardware designed to prevent entry, protect an asset, or impose harm to the technician. Locks, doors, safes, and even active alarm technology can be included in the course.

Alarm Bypass (3 day)
Alarm Bypass, Access Entry
Alarm Bypass, Access entry focuses on the typess of alarms found in monitored structures, and the methods of bypass. This is followed by practical application on live panels, and then practice on monitored structures such as vehicles, rooms, and buildings.

Hand Entry and Manual Disablement Course (5 Days)
Hand Entry and Manual Disablement Course
The WMDTech's EOD (Bomb Technician) Hand Entry and Manual Disablement course is a 5-day course meant to teach a Bomb Squad the fundamentals of manually entering an Improvised Explosive Device or gain access to a device with the intent of Rendering it Safe via manual neutralization techniques. The 5-day course will contain lessons on Manual Entry tools and techniques, Safety Considerations, how to bypass monitored circuitry, countermeasures for impedances to entry, maintaining the environment of a device, X-Ray analysis, manual entry considerations for CBRNE devices, and how to safely disable detonators in complex devices.
