This course teaches certified bomb technicians that fundamentals of manipulating several types of locking mechanisms commonly used for securing buildings, vehicles, containers and other impediments to gaining access to potential IED’s. The course covers nondestructive methods and tools used to bypass or operate as designed on a large variety of lock types including warded, water, pin and tumbler and spool pin type keyways.
